Re: Iron Golems: New miniatures brand
So they are scaled to the old GW starplayer, so slightly bigger than 3rd ed scale models?

Re: Iron Golems: New miniatures brand
horekin, we'll show you the three options we're working on soon!
Digger Goreman, thanks for your comment! we'll consider that if we ever go for an undead team. And yes, you sound exactly like that but who does not have a kid waiting fot Yuletide inside?
theghr, we can ensure that the three models that we will show you have their own styles
Chris, the GW Grim Ironjaw is'nt bigger in terms of scale than the other dwarf players, maybe a little bulkier for the longest crest and beard. So we think our models fit quite good with the 3rd Ed. ones.
stashman, we plan to do star players probably as stretch goals for the crowdfunding campaign and we also plan to include a campaign exclusive mini. We can't say more for the moment but we're sure you will love some of the models we're working on with Pedro Ramos.
Chaos Dwarf, glad you like the team! Our idea is to launch the crowdfunding after summer holidays but we can't give a date right now. Please stay tuned for more info in the coming days

Re: Iron Golems: New miniatures brand
Oh, wow... Seriously considering selling my 3rd edition dwarfs to make room for these
Depending on the price I might 'just' buy them, because I really like them,,!

Well, nice work done so far! I am a fan of GW-scale - especially with dwarfs it just looks ridiculous if they are as tall as elves...
Question: Will you cast your minis in pewter or resin? +1 For pewter

JaM, glad you like them!
JonnyKanone, thanks for your comment! We plan to do them in pewter although we will perform some tests with resin. There seems to be some pewter fans around here so much better for everyone

Good to hear! Pewter is as classic as your design concept and simply feels better on pitch. Sounds like a perfect match! Looking forward to your next steps!Iron Golems wrote:JaM, glad you like them!

Re: Iron Golems: New miniatures brand
I find plastic and resin easier to cut and model. The fact that it's usually cheaper is an added bonus

Re: Iron Golems: New miniatures brand
Those are some nice-looking dwarves. They look like they can actually move and play, and I really like the old school look. Very nice indeed!
