I think I'll convert and paint the zombies next. Stay tuned.
After that I'll have to decide which version of the team I'd like to finish first (Undead or Necro)

Re: Charlottenburg Corpsboys
Those ghouls are excellent: I assume they are both conversions of the Heresy ghoul? It's the ghoul I use, but I didn't bother to convert the pose like you have. I really like the distinctiveness you've imparted to both ghouls.
The orange-ish color on the ghouls is also amazing. Mine always end up looking too damn much like their zombie teammates when I use a gray or greenish skintone--wish I had done them in your orange instead now.

Yes, they are both from the Heresy running ghouls set
The skin turned out quite good and I hope there will be a clear contrast to the zombies skin color (where I'll use dead flesh from Vallejo).
If not, I might mix in a tad of light green. They're up next, so I'll hopefully be able to show the contrast in a couple of weeks.

Nice, I like the conversion of having the ghoul carry a ball

Here's a WIP pic of two Zombies. Now ready for GS.
I know, the picture is sadly up side down

I'm quite pleased with the outcome of the helmets and I can't wait to get them GSed and painted.

Nice ghouls and the zombies look cool. I always thought those mantic zombies were a little small - how do they compare size wise to the other figs?

Re: Charlottenburg Corpsboys
They're roughly the same size as the ghouls which means the other positionals will tower over them. I'm using Willy miniatures for everything except the Golems, for whom I'll use these, axiom wrote:Nice ghouls and the zombies look cool. You can't have it all I guess, but it doesn't matter that much. The Zombies and the Ghouls are the weakest players in the team, so it would be worse if it was the other way around.

Re: Charlottenburg Corpsboys
Nice team and wonderful zombies, did you convert/modeled the helmets or did you just took them from another mini?
I suppose you know by now, but your zombies will barely be half the size of your golems. Those golems are more or less the size of a 2nd. ed. ogre. But as long as you like it, it's ok

Thank you. Yes, I've used some old helmets (picture bellow). I just filed them down a bit and added a pice of a metal paper clip.ulvardar wrote:Nice team and wonderful zombies, did you convert/modeled the helmets or did you just took them from another mini?

I know. I've got the two Golems at home and there's a big difference. Once the zombies are GS and painted I'll take another picture, with the Golems in the background.
Hopefully, the zombies will look a bit bigger with their shoulder pads, once they're added.

Re: Charlottenburg Corpsboys
They're finally painted and I'm quite pleased. Next up, the Mummies.
(I've decided to start with the regular undead team and the golems are there for a size comparison)
