If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.

I will, when I get a chance :) . That team is converted from a box of glade guard wood elfs, I bought an weapon snipped a few of the GW wardancers and the treeman is from the LOTR line, Treebeard model. I green stuffed a football helmet onto him. He's HUGE but awesome and I play strictly on 40 mm boards just so that I can open up modeling opportunities like this, admittedly even at that this model pushes that boundary. He was everything I wanted in a treeman model so I used him as is. I could have chopped his legs off if I wanted too though and he still would have been cool IMO. S.

Thanks! :D I found when converting the Glade Guard figs there were going to be some thing that I had to live with. The first was "breasted" torsos, making some of my elfs lady elfs. There is not enough male torsos to do the whole team as men and I wasn't about to boob file the tiny chunks of plastic. The other item I decided to live with was the fact that they are an archer unit and many of the torsos have the right arm "pulling a bow string". I tried to get around this problem by weapon snipping the bows off the left arm and cutting it or bending it so it looked less obvious that they were bowmen. I was pretty happy with the way they turned out as it looks as if they are in a defensive fighting stance with their right hands close to their chin and their left hands held out warding off the stinking Dwarfs! (your welcome Heff). The linemen all have cloaks on the catchers have one foot in the air. Over all I'm very happy with the way this team turned out but I would caution that converting the Glade Guard is an advanced, bordering on master level modeling project. S.

Thanks Khail! That is simply the best board ever! I love the adds and whole look of the bricks and the throwing chart weather and everything, it's awesome! I hope to have my Norse team done in time for the great RCR tournament this year! S.
