Golden football secret weapons, november submissions.

Its a land slide! Secret weapons have won it! A great catagory to start us off, this includes all star players, goblin secret weapons,dwarf deathroller and assassins. Don't forget that there is a chainsaw special play card so any player can have a chainsaw! Let the creative juices flow.

Entrys must not be previously finished works, please start something new or you will be disqualified. There's no colour limit but please remember that your being judged by your fellow forum members and they may take this into account. Conversions are more than welcome.

The deadline for entrys is november 30th so get painting!

Edit= and before anyone points it out yes I am including the po-goer even though it doesn't have the secret weapon skill.

Nice Boris conversion... Although I wouldn't have personally gone with the balled hand.

Yeah doesn't fit game wise but I just love the dynamic of him charging down field ball in hand chopping his way through the defence! The arm with the chainsaw looks like it has just been swung down in a big arc, need an idea to some how convey that more?

A semi circular stream of blood, spinning off the top of the saw. I've seen it done before. If I can find the link, I'll post it.

Thanks naz that's the type of thing I want just a little stuck on how to impliment it? I'm thinking either very thin plati card or greenstuff?

I would use transparent plastic from blisters boxes, cut in small arches or strips. Then glue it to the chainsaw, and cover it with red transparent paint (Tamiya seems to be the most abused one for blood splatters, mixed with other things to change color or texture).

Noooooo!!! I've already done all the secret... Wait a minute. I still don't have a goblin ball and chain. Now I have two reasons to get me one of those.

Recently put together a new gobbo team using the plastic regiment sprues, so i'll enter one of those, probably the po-goer

Here is my submission. As I'm currently putting together a kit bashed Ork team I converted this Ugroth Bolgrot for the Secret Weapon submission. It will also double nicely as a normal lineman with the chainsaw special play card if that bad boy ever showed up. Here is the Rear View.

Also, I'm very much looking forward to these little monthly competitions because none of the models I've converted for this team are painted yet and it will give me a good excuse to start doing them one month at a time. I've already voted Big Guys for December. Cheers.
