Nice work, is it a conversion? It looks a lot like he's a slack jawed lumbberer, which is very orcy and a nice break from the OTT action poses you usually see with conversion work. Great job.

Looks to me like the 2nd edition Ogre (maybe morg) with the plastic head and gut plate from fantasy Orcs.

A really effective conversion and just goes to show how Gw's scale has changed over the years. I've seen some other great conversions using older versions of monsters such as ogres or minotaurs with heads from the modern Orcs.

My friend, you have put my orc team (which I'll post a pic or two of when complete) to shame, completely. I might as well retire.

I've just been browsing over some of the other threads and there's been some great work posted lately but this one knocked me back, I think "inspired" is the right word! Well done!

The arm and hand positions are a bit odd, but otherwise they are fantastic.
Wait, those are the current GW blood bowl ogre arms arnt they?

Those are turning out fantastic both convertion and painting wise!
With that said I'm realy curious on what you'll be using as BO's or even Troll, but I suppose you must have thought of that...

Keep us posted!
Cheers

i have collected fantasy orcs and played orcs in fantasy football !!!! for years so this is just a display team for my shelf, the idea was to make them large using some of the minis i have collected over the years ( really like the All-Blacks quote Traveller , not far off with that ) as for the black orcs and troll well i will keep you posted when im up to speed on the conversions
