High Elf team: Lothern Lions

Hi,

I'm in a bit of a rush out the door to the WCQuake tournament with my good buddy Mr. Laughing Ferret in a few minutes. I just have enough time to post these quick pictures of my minty fresh High Elf team, the Lothern Lions. These photos were taken very quickly, fresh after the matte varnishing (the color balance is a little iffy, but improved over original posted versions). Enjoy the pics and wish me luck!

I never liked the GW High Elf models that much - not even when I played them myself - but you really made them shine.

Did a bit of a crude fix on the white-balance, so they're not quite so obviously off, color-wise.

Thanks very much for all the kind comments. I'm really happy with how the team came out and the fact that they're done! I waited too long to get this project finished.

I wish I could say that luck was with me @ the tourney, but Nuffle cursed my dice for the most part. Regardless, I had a blast. The WCQuake event is amazing and I encourage anyone able to come out next year (Vegas, baby!) to make the effort to be there. It's well worth it. Fun games all, even when I got pitch-cleared.
