BB Blog: Werewolves

Post by Akka »

Hi, guys!
I just wanted to tell you I have a fantasy football blog where I document how I make teams and such!
http://www.fantasyfootballprojects.blogspot.com

I've only just started the blog, but I think a lot of people would find my first project very interesting. I am using Ral Partha miniatures to make a pro-elf team! Here's a test model for the colour scheme:

I'm working on the photography :)

Please, tell me what you think!

Ral Partha's site is a mess. The "Store" button is hidden in some ads or something. You can find it here: https://www.connectstores.com/ralpartha/
They are under Fantasy Armies then Elves. These are the Irregular ones.

Here is a slightly better picture!

Really nice looking Elf - scheme, pose everything. You mention in your blog that they're smaller than GW elves - how far off the 2nd edition figures are they? If they're close enough I'll be picking up some for my team.

I'm sorry but I have no idea. I could take some scale photos with perhaps a GW wood elf.

That would be really useful! For reference, a 2nd ed line-elf is about 25mm to the eyes and about 28mm to the top of the head excluding back-combed hair ;)

So they're smaller, but not ridiculously small - thanks for the pic!

Yeah, sure! And if you take their different poses in consideration it's not too bad at all.

And thanks, Axtklinge. Now I'm just waiting for the minis.

I'd like tos second norse - I particularly like the skin tones and the hair. Both are clean and very nicely highlighted. May I ask how you did both?

Very, very nice. I personally think it looks like he's about to burst into an 80's power ballad but that makes it even more awsome :) Great colour scheme very origional and the paint job is excellent 10/10.

PS if you haven't got kids or watch the Disney Channel often, that won't mean much I guess..
