Soldiers of Fortune - Elf team
Hi everyone!
I just finished my Elf team Soldiers of Fortune. Here's some pictures!
The models are Ral Partha elves.
Throwers
Linemen
Catchers
Blitzers
Next I'm going to varnish them. Probably going to ruin everything

They look great...and you should be okay with the varnish. I use spray matte finish on my models and haven't had a problem yet.

Re: Soldiers of Fortune - Elf team
I'm not convinced on the catchers just because they are all obvious bow snips. If you could reposition the left arm on even just one or two would be enough to disguise it IMO.
But that's a very minor note.
Overall, the team fits together very well, the nice consistent theme from using the same set of mini's is great, and the paintjob is terrific. I love how you've painted up the armour. It's really difficult to do white armour well, but you've nailed it.
Very jealous!

Love the paint job, they do suffer from weapon snip syndrome though.

Very nice choice of minis!
The colour scheme fits them great and looks very well painted!
They kinda deserved a diorama of some sort just to show them off all together!
Congrats!

Lovely painted team, nice one!
But what's with those two knee-knocking catchers!? Sculptor needed to go for a pee at the time too?

I love this team...if someone would have told me "hey, I'm going to make a Blood Bowl team out of ral Partha models" I would have asked "why?" But this team is really neat.

Thats a great looking team!
I think the line Elves would make great thralls in an Vampire team.
