[WIP] A new Kroxigor

Post by Tim »

My league mates complained that my old GW Kroxigor was too small in comparison with the Sauri (made from Warhammer plastics), so i looked out for a new one. With Hell Dorado's Kartikeya, I found a nice T-Rex like figure with some humanoid aspects (arms, mostly) that fits perfectly with reptile look of the Warhammer Sauri.

With it's spanned arms it took a bit too much space on the pitch, so i repositioned the right arm and added shoulder pads to make him look more footballish. The arm blades might be a bit over the top, but hey, my team's Kroxigor currently leads the league in casualties. Size wise he's more ST6 than ST5, but there's still hope at the next skill roll ;)

Now he joins my long queue of minis waiting for a paintjob ...

Beautiful mini. I've been looking at this one for a while, but 18 quid or so is a bit much for now. A good idea with the right arm - all the pics I've seen of this mini on the net have very little to compare it to.

Looking forward to seeing the paint job!

tim put a scale comparison pic in his OP, I've got one of the older (and much cheaper ones from their range)

you can see it on this thread next to a chaos dwarf viewtopic.php?f=23&t=27899 I tried putting the image in this thread again but there is a 640px image width limitation and i couldn't be bothered to resize it

Played against the non modified version, it takes a lot of room on a playing field.

Kick off return was my idea :)
