CHAOS ALLSTARS 2007!

Post by razza »

Hi all!
I've been very busy of late with a massive team commission and here it is finished for you all to see.
The team has a total of 22 players, including 3 big guys. The main thing that stand out with the team is that all the players are individuals (as it should be with BB), this did take extra work on the painting side but the finished team is well worth it.
The customer wanted the classic all star colours, green with the pink flames. when you look at the team the overall effect is great and it takes you back to the "good old days".
and to add to the old school feel of the team the base rims are painted in the position colours.
I had great fun painting this team, a trip down memory lane!
any comments or questions would be great, here they are...

Fantastic work. Beautiful flames - how did you get them so good?
Good to see all the classic models together in one team.

cheers for the comments guys! yep, the flames did kill me, i use a good brush and take my time with a few layers to build the colour.
the players with names are the star players, all the others are standard.
thanks again! :D

Have to say (having had another look) much as I like the old skaven figures, the newer Storm vermin fig fits in with the rest of the team well.

It's amazing how a great paint job can change (IMHO) mediocre models into something great. Nice work!
