My Star Troll (#10) - Gripper Ball-Rot

I thought a new Troll might make my Orc team more deserving of painting glory, but in reality it was just a waste of time even trying to paint a number 10 like this apparently..

I think I'll stop painting yellow and blue Orcs now..

Looks good. Is that just Ripper's head minus the spike? I thought that would look nice, but IMO it looks even better than I thought. :)

have you ever used the other troll (the passing one) on a tournie?

I really dig the dark red scales. Looks a bit "scabby".

I was going to do the scales green and then had a sudden change of heart.. happy with the red look.. a bit different if nothing else...

I don't think I have ever used the passing Troll in a tourney.. I would only do that in a team with a goblin in the roster though.. and I didn't take a gobbo to Brass Bowl...

Great work again Ramsay. Troll is really looking superb and will look great with the rest of the team!

Now get a picture of the team and show the rest of the world what painting is about. (and what I am incapable of! )

Sob, what you have done with my Troll... :D

It was the first mini I bought after coming back to BB from a 8 year long break in 2003. First thing was to remove that silly oversized spike. It wuz too much Griff-chicken-head-style for my taste.

Don't be too overambitious with him Rams. He was freebooted by my Goblin squad when they faced a Dwarf team in the finals of a mini-league. He went' KO in the 2nd turn and never cambe back again. I had to trade him away honestly.

Poor long beard.... serves him right for standing in front of a troll though.

Nice work on the troll. Good colours and clean work. Just the way I like it. If I could I'd send you testors dull cote over the mail I would. It's just a bit on the glossy side.

Hmmm maybe he's just sweating alot... Afterall killing dwarves is no easy task.
