my undeads - your opinion

Here's my page for my newbie first season undead team, you can find the little bastards under the 'Kadaver' button. I'm really into miniature painting and converting, so i would appreciate your opion on these.

page is in german, but miniatures are multicultural are they ?

Ghouls got shield to symbolize their block skill, if they ever get one, ... after 5 games i already have one 'dead' wight and one 'dead' ghoul, ... so the ghoul is now an assistant coach, .. the wight is out in the world to search for new talents ;o]

oh well i might admit, ... the nun was killed and converted by my team in a game, so i decided to buy a nun miniature and paint it zombie style ...

That's a good idea but it may have been executed a little better with the shield on the base or something. Having it on the player just looks wrong.

Figs are nicely painted, but the shields look a little strange. your Mummies are probably going to get block quickly also and i just cant see the shield looking that great on the pitch. Only my opinion of course, dont rip em off just for my sake. If you like the shields then thats all that counts

well i do notice a tendency yet, ... 'shields bad ! '

i will see if i will change that, ... they also represent the team colors, for the ghouls do not have much to paint them on.

the bases aren't finished yet, .. i plan to give them the stats und some environment, like skulls and bones, ... so maybe there will be places to give the the team color look ...

you can paint the trousers of the ghoul in team colours.

Love it. THe nun is cool and "Pierced Brosnan" is a classic. Oh yeah, dump the shields......

Ghouls are kind of tribal, I painted mine for warhammer fantasy using tribal paints on them, using the army colors

probably not a new statement ,but the shields...nah kinda ruin the figures

as suggested above glue shields on your bases for those that get block
in that way you keep the shields and the team colours
