Update on my site with "Making of" of the troll
Well, i added the "making of" of the troll yesterday night. Thats the page about the GD2003 Orc team. I still have to exchange the group pict of the whole team. But the link " Troll " below the pict is working already.
Just in case someone is interested... Djengis ?
Next the coins, the plastic minis and than the making of the SB pitch...

I just got some Brownstuff from Andy (Heresy) coming in with the last order, so ... i never tried this stuff. Maybe i will try with the foot amputated troll i got from one of my last ebay auctions, doing a " pirate style " troll ?
At last I will check it out with my next big project

I find the brown stuff much softer to work with... it is much easier to mix and more pleasant to use to be honest... though that migth be because my GS is really old and is dried out..
either way I'd rather give Andy less money for better stuff than pay GW more money for less stuff! (see how Dutch I am!)

I now made a nice shoulder pad and it looks pretty good..
the brown stuff realy is better as the green stuff I used before..
it dries a bit faster so when you're sculpting it gets a bit harder and after a half an hour you can make it more smooth in different stages what is realy nice I think..
and it looks pretty cool: a big brown bulb on his shoulder..
AND it comes in a nice little bow, which can be used as a paint mixing pallet realy good !!
Heresy is realy good !!
the dril is Beautiful and not expensive ..
only the drill bit...
mm.. maybe I had to order more then one..
it shot away from the model where I was working on: it crashed against the glasplate under my working mat... just an edge of 3 centimeter were it can crash bad.. DAMN it !! only one day of work and broken now..
but it is realy good stuff they have at heresy !!
I advice anyone to buying there !!
but now i can still use it but it is vey small..

Thats very thin plastic strips (0,5mm-1 mm), i got from a hobby shop. Its quite easy to bend. Well, the thin ones... Its easier sometimes to use this stuff than sculpting thin borders around the shoulderpads.what are the white things on the green stuff ??
This plastic strips come in different measures and thickness. Not very cheap, as its normal use for architecture models.
Yep, i´m getting better with the greenstuff... but still far away from really goodenough to make a whole mini
