Maybe some of the crowd got overenthusiastic about the throw a rock scenario. Hey if they were aiming at a big guy it would need to be a big rock.

That and I have always figured a pitch is full of natural obstacles and traps from both sides. Explains why slow moving players are safe but can kill themselves when going full speed.

Thanks! The beast is from Kill Team Rogue Trader where it's called "The Writher". I liked it better than FW's official beast and I got it for around €10 from a bits and pieces site. It was a lot of fun to paint!
