I guessed as much, as someone who is a far better painter than photographer myself, I have also endured the same issues..

It's such a pain isn't it?! I must rig up a lightbox or something to help.Norse wrote:I guessed as much, as someone who is a far better painter than photographer myself, I have also endured the same issues..
Here are some hopefully better daytime pics:
Treewoman

WIP Team

Three more players to paint - 1 Catcher, 1 Thrower, 1 Lineman, but overall including coaching staff and 'reserves' I'll end up with nearer 30 models!

I'm mightily impressed withthe treewoman, great figure. I also like the fact your mixing various types of miniatures to create an individual feel to the team.
Keep up the good work.

Great looking team, I love the mix of models and the subtle conversion work, and the Treewoman mini is a great find.

Thanks all! I think the dryad model has got to be one of my favourite models ever - it was great to paint, and is beautifully sculpted. It's just a shame the bulk of the Enigma range is out of scale (30mm or 54mm) for anything else - there's a great Elf blacksmith I fancied using, but he's huge:

I plan to have a focused effort next week at completing a playable painted team!

Definitely - the perfect addition to any dryad teamlittlejonnyfrostbite wrote:Woo hoo! The perfect treeman for my all dryad woodies!

I had a big push (well, a few hours of painting) this week and produced two more player - a Thrower and another Lineman. I now have a full 11 players (unfortunately it's not a legal starting list!). So this weekend the plan is to paint up the final Catcher and some more coaching staff, and I'll have a fully painted team.
Anyway, here's the latest additions:

Re: Elf Team Plog Updated: Painted Thrower & Lino 27/08 (pag
Hooray - finally after nearly 18 months I have a painted, playable 11-man team (plus a Treewoman and some coaches). My starting 11 comprises:
1 Wardancer
3 Catchers
1 Thrower
6 Linemen
2 RR
And here are the Menryllion Whiteblades in all their glory (OK, I know I still need to do the bases):

And some group shots:
Catchers

Linemen

Kickers (played as Linemen) - I know I still need to remove the leg struts!

Wardancer and Thrower

Coaches

So, what's next? I already painted up a Treewoman, but there are a load of other figures in the pipeline. Here's a couple of sideline figures plus some more positionals / Star Players:

The two Linemen are next on the painting table, then I want to have a crack at the Defensive Coach and Apothecary

Re: Elf Team Updated: Full Painted Team & WIP Squad pics (p3
Hooray - a fully painted and based team (I know I need some numbers, but I can get by for now). Their first outing as a completed team (the 11-man squad excludes the Treewoman) will be this Sunday
