Discuss Fantasy football-style board games - GW's Blood Bowl, Impact!'s Elfball, Privateer Press' Grind, Heresy's Deathball, etc. THIS IS NOT AN NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!
A forum for football mini's talk.......painting, converting etc. etc. or showing off great accessories that make playing the game easier, cooler or more fun.

Because Specialist Games isn't releasing anything at the moment.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Anyone have pictures of the Vampire, Darkelf Ref and Human Ref?
IIRC, the snap of the Dark Elf ref was taken at the first Pearly Kings and Queens - Jervis came along to see what was going on and brought that and the first issue of SG mag to show the players.

Completed the 26 in Classic - November 2019

Crikey,
when my brother and I split our BB collection back in the day, he got both the 2nd ed. dark elf and 2nd ed. orc team... And if I'm not mistaken all the of the unreleased players were on there.
Looks like he's sitting on some spare cash
Those two are only described as unreleased because they weren't well advertised. They're not as valuable as the trolls (and the rest) by a long margin.

I saw this later and corrected it !
The resin Vampire pict is the pict from my website. I got the pict from the sculptor with the permission of Fanatic with this text:
This alternate Vampire Lord is the original version made by Steve Buddle when he sculpted the Vampire Team. Fanatic decided they wanted a helmet on him and that he should have more 'footbally' boots. As Steve was rather pleased with the original, Fanatic (very kindly) cast this one for him before the changes were made. Only one of this figure was ever cast and the original sculpture was changed into the final Vamp Lord. So, interesting curio or the rarest Blood Bowl figure of all time? Probably the former but here it is for your viewing pleasure.
Once i got the chance to take the Darkelf ref as a price for a best painted team, but i took the LRB5 Mino 3 months before his official release.
