There's also a good chance that younger newcomers wanting to use their shiny new pitches won't be as fat as the rest of us and won't have such clumsy middle aged fingers, so there's that as well.

But we will have to teach them that people who don't use dice cups are literally worse than Hitler.

I don't think there will be any problem with continuing to run events with the current sized pitches, on reflection, Darkson makes a valid point, just stick a disclaimer thing in the rules pack and make sure newer coaches are aware, most people are reasonable if given warning. Like "hey we're running x event again this year, due to table size restriction we will be using..."

I think the bigger problem initially will be all these little jump up starts wanting to run new events, like Foul Bowl  clashing with our golden oldies and regular events that have ran for years. It will be a shame if the community splits, I'm guessing the NAF has some sort of contingency plan in place to cover all future possibilities...

What happened?
If he threw you minis around out of frustration, I'm with you.
If it happened accidently... Well, than I don't think you should hold anyone responsible except you who brought the precious minis to a tournament.

Not going into detail, it still makes me angry to think about and it is totally OT in this thread. You asked if such a thing has ever happened, I answered.
Sufficient to say that of course accidents happen but this wasn't that, and I'm glad to have only ever played one person who displayed such deliberate and malicious disregard for other peoples property as that guy did.

I remember Ruth getting stroppy about her lovely Slann team at Dobbybowl. she had these bloody annoying markers for prone and stunned, caused me no end of angst. Also remember killing your Snow Troll with my first block.

If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.

Killing a Snow Troll - and the Apo refusing to help - is a great way to warm your dice up an make your opponent go a bit green around the gills.
You didn't proceed to smash the model to show me just how dead it was.

I did in my head. And jumped up and down on the bits.
