i have a severe addiction to big, giant tities my wife calls it a sickness but i did'nt marry my wife for her smarts and i do like hers in my face back on topic: i just did a quick review of my "wish list" for the rest of the year(yeah, i'm that orginised). this is a list divided into 3 parts: teams singles tourny/special figs i'll buy probly 4 full teams in the next 4 months. i buy 1 team a month, or if theres a good sale, 2(i bought the first 2 black scorpion teams at once. good value for money). at this point, i plan to buy: the norse team from gaspez the new high elves from gaspez the dwarf team from black scorpion the neomec biker dwarf team all are quite a bit lower that $100. now, i love the frogs from greendog, and their chaos dwarfs are pretty damn nice looking. but they are $87. if i buy a team for, say, $70 or less, i can use the left over for some singles, like buy some frogs from greebo to build that team up. or buy a special tourny figure(i wish the guy what has the NED KILLY would get back to me) or buy from my friend simon, who has really hooked me up with some outstanding figures at GREAT prices. thats just what i do, and how i see the "price creep", as it were. there are too many people who are trying, or so it appears to me, keeping there prices at somewhat reasonable levels. how are "they", making teams that are good looking, and keep their prices at the $50-$75 range? yet some companies like greebo and impact! put these $100 teams out?

thats just what i do, and how i see the "price creep", as it were. there are too many people who are trying, or so it appears to me, keeping there prices at somewhat reasonable levels. how are "they", making teams that are good looking, and keep their prices at the $50-$75 range? yet some companies like greebo and impact! put these $100 teams out? I'm sorry. Do you really need someone to explain this one to you? Because I'm really confused since you claim to have a degree in the sciences which should have included some math classes, the least of which is the ability to compare apples to apples. Which you just did not do even a little bit. Let's actually compare apples to apples and see what we come up with when a speck of reality is used. Norse team from Gaspez (12 HUMAN sized players $61.60) VS Impact! Valkyrie Team #2 (11 HUMAN sized figures AND a BIG GUY for $59.52) New High Elf team from Gaspez (12 HUMAN sized models for $69.15) VS Impact! Timberline team (12 HUMAN sized models for $48.20) The Dwarf team from Black Scorpion is RESIN not pewter (11 STUNTY sized models for $34.93) vs Impact! Thunder Hammer Dwarf team with 13 figures in it scaled down to 11 would be $47.39 so more money yes, but less than $13 extra for a MUCH more expensive casting material The Neomics Biker Dwarf team is 11 STUNTY sized models for $55.11 - comparing apples to apples one last time - 11 Thunder Hammer Dwarves would be $47.39 So WTF is your problem by coming on this thread and suggesting Impact! is trying to gouge customers for prices!?!? Seriously as someone who is mostly a lurker to the forums as I come here just to keep up to date on what is happening. You seem to never miss a beat to critize Impact! Did they do something to you or your son that deserves the naked disrespect that you constantly heap their way? The Ape team they just came out with that you are screaming about being $131 is an incredibly heavy ass team with 16!!! figures (not the 12 or 11 that you are talking about above) that I have in my hands thanks to pledging for the KickStarter. It is easily weighing twice as much as ANY of the 4 teams you just meantioned above. That metal in these figures is NOT free and so trying to make a comparison between the price of a team with a BIG GUY and 8 massive ST 4 players with accessories to STUNTY sized 12 man teams, really just doesn't make any sense unless you have a personal axe to grind against Impact! and from your past posts it appears you do. I'm not sure what your problem is, but I'd really like to see you take a step back and try to figure out if you are being reasonable (like in the above example where you didn't even TRY to compare apples to apples) before you started posting. And frankly is you were being honest with your postings, Impact! prices are as low if not lower than most of the FF manufacturers out there right now for how they are pricing their figures. Just looking at Wood/High Elves as one example: Impact! - 4.17 to 4.83 Euros Neomics - 4.90 Euros Gaspez - 4.96 Euros (for their Wood Elf figs ... their brand new High Elves are 5.96 Euros) Greebo - 7.99 Euros Willy - 8.00 Euros So bound for glory, if you actually posted fair information, I'm struggling to see how you can make a statement that Impact! is not "keeping there prices at somewhat reasonable levels" with a straight face unless you have an agenda against the company. Otherwise how to do you explain all the above FACTS which I've now helped you to have. We constantly get to read about how much you LOVE Gaspez and Comnixinos, so I came only assume that Impact! at some point treated you or your son like sh*t and thus you feel the need to pull out your guns and post negatively about them on TWO threads at the same time this last week. Especially since you choose to do so on one where they are promoting new product.
