Forget the low value ones. Play Hardcore Mode (tm)*, use Hthark the Unstoppable Chaos Dwarf 330,000 6 5 2 9 Skills Loner, Block, Break Tackle, Juggernaut, Sprint, Sure Feet, Thick Skull 2 Bulls 260k 4 CD's 280k 5 Hobbits 200k All that comes to 1070k. So its 1150k, put in another CD * Hardcare Mode (tm) - playing with no rerolls.

If you need a mandatory Star I'd take Zzharg and use him as a spare ST4 CDB to tie people up in tackle zones for your first defensive drive. Ignore the quasi-ball handling abilities he comes with, for his price he's an excellent road block who may end up snaffling the ball and punting it.

Haha Hardcore mode! I agree on lunchmoney's sentiment because I don't think the lower values stars available to Chaos Dwarves would be worth it. Zzharg requires a running game which you won't have in an undeveloped tourney. Nobbla would be alright if you kicked first and went for a 2-1 grind maybe? Nobbla with a bribe is something to talk about but is very expensive for what you get. Morg is just too expensive. But I wouldn't choose Hthark over Grashnak. Maybe that's just my playstyle, though. And if you do go with lunchmoney's roster, I'd replace one hobgoblin with an apothecary. Has the same effect, should a hobgoblin be injured.. But if a bull centaur gets killed, you'll be kicking yourself when a hobgoblin comes on to replace him. And you'd still have enough dosh to shell out for a Chaos Dwarf OR re-roll if the TV was 50k higher.

Hthark is way better than Grashnak! It could be fun to try out that hardcore variant

And for several games, I had no Reroll as the Leader got tagged for early death by most opponents. Playing with no rerolls is liberating. No umming and ahhing over whether to burn a reroll or not. Just get on with it
