Reaper Bones
Reaper miniatures are releasing something called 'Bones'. Essentially, the prices of yesterday with the models of today.

What it means is that this guy costs only $1.99!
Suck it, fine cast!

Love the werewolf and surely that worm has a use on the field! (As opposed to under it looking after the grass.)

And this troll is $2.29!

The ogre they have (a whopping $2.49) would need some converting to ditch the club, but might work...

I really hope this line keeps expanding. I have long been a fan of using cheap plastic minis from other lines (including even prepaints) for cheap and easy Blood Bowl teams.

Re: Reaper Bones
As a note, these are (presumably) the same sculpts that are found in the "Legendary Encounters" Reaper releases, which are pre-painted plastics (running only about $1-2 more than their above unpainted counterpart). I don't have either the Wolf, Ogre, or Troll, but some of the other Legendary Encounter sets I picked up to flush out my old Warhammer Quest box had nice scale and decent detail.

Re: Reaper Bones
Not presumably, they admitted it in the forums. It's the same thing than LE, but without paint. And in some (all?) cases you can also find the metal versions without much effort; the wolf, ogre and troll are avaliable in the 3 styles, for example. Ogre price raises to 11.50 in that case (vs 2.50 unpainted plastic).RogueThirteen wrote:As a note, these are (presumably) the same sculpts that are found in the "Legendary Encounters" Reaper releases, which are pre-painted plastics (running only about $1-2 more than their above unpainted counterpart).
