Anybody else going to be making it to salute? For those that dont know salute is the UKs biggest tabletop gameing convention, dozens of sculpters and gamesmiths will be showing off all their toys new and old. There's not much fantasy football for sale but there's more than enough conversion bits and goo-gaws to make it a fun day out for any fan of tabletop gameing. http://slwarlords.blogspot.com/p/salute-2012.html?m=0I will be travelling from yeovil so if anyone wants to meet up and make this a group journey shoot me a PM.

My club will have a big contingent there putting on demo games of various systems as normal - as long as I'm not working, I'll be there too.

LBWS may go. Not sure if there is an ASQL on from the club... I'll try to find out. This means getting to Bristol before going up to London, that may help

I'd love to go, and I know at least two of my mates here would like to go as well. The cost of flights for just the one day is a bit much though You never know though. I'd love to actually meet the Heresy and Hasslefree people.

Maybe - having seen pics of it I'm interested, but depends on whether I'm due to be working or not - not going to book a day's holiday for it (saving them for tourneys!).

I will be going to salute 2012 (Trading for my 6th year now) I wont be brining much Blood Bowl stuff down as its too specialist but will have some suppliers minis like Greebo & Impact. If you want to pre-order some and pick them up there though I will offer a usual 10% discount on anything pre-ordered and collected at the show. (Ensures I have what you want) If its easier you can also place a Pre-order for the show online that can be picked up by hand to save on postage. Place order via the site and advise payment by Cheque/Cash and in notes say 'COLLECT AT SALUTE11' or e-mail me with what you require set aside. Otherwise if you mention this post advertising the event I will offer you a 10% discount at the show also. Hope to see you at the show Cheers Jason Hope to see you there

In a lastminute.com, I'm now going (in fact, leaving it about 1/2 hour), along with Moodygit and BigBelcher. Shame I can't make Pearlies, but literally only got the greenlight about 9 hours ago!

Glad I went. Nice to see what's out there, especially the stuff I'd seen online but wasn't sure on it.
*waves at Rodders* Didn't get to speak to Jason, as he was busy both times I wandered past his stall.
Apart from BigBelcher looking for FoW/WH Ancients stuff, and Moody getting a KR bag, we didn't really have anything planned, though we were looking for models to use when we start to play Legends of the Old West - saw a few ranges, but then right near the end we saw the Black Scorpion range, and that was us sold. Unfortunately (or fortunately from my bank balances' POV) they'd sold out on a lot of the sets, so we decided to leave it and make an online order. Also really liked their Pirate stuff, so I see a Pirate game on the horizon (if anyone knows of a good set of pirate rules... not ship-to-ship).
Only downside for me was there were a lot of games there that I liked the look of, but I can't justify spending £20+ on a rulebook I might never get to use (Carnivale, malifaux, Dysopian Wars and a few others).
All-in-all really enjoyed it, and it's in the diary for next year (as will be buying tickets in advance!).
