BB Mag 4
has anyone received a subscription copy of BB Mag #4 yet? It's on the GW BB site as just released (in August? )
I think Andy may be suffering from lack of sleep due to his new asst. coach .

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Right then.
Just phoned UK MO, they have copies in stock at £2 each. I was unable to take out a subscription at the same time though Seem's they have a new computer system and no one has put BB mag on there yet. First off he wanted to charge me £3.50 for the mag as he was getting the price from BB Mag1, I politley corrected him
So you should be able to call and order now. The number is 0115 91 40000.

This issue, yes. Authors get advanced copies, as I think everyone has figured out from BB Mag #3.snotsngrots wrote:Galak,
Did you get one of the first copies because you're in it?
Nothing earthshaking with my article. Legal yanked an article during their review of BB Mag #4, so Andy needed pages quickly to fill the hole. He had seen the gallery page on my website, and asked if I could write a small article about my collection in 48 hours with pictures to put into the mag to fill his last minute problem. Originally I thought Andy needed 3 pages so I sent him 3 pages worth of stuff (the article legal had pulled was 3 pages), but in the end he only needed 2 so the article and some of the pics go trimmed (no biggie really). However the trimming did result in a classic GW printing error though, Andy trimmed out one of my pictures but then forgot to remove the paragraph talking about and then referring to said picture .... ah well ... somehow my 1st article won't be complete without the GW Gremlin attacking it ...
TH Lapin is currently checking with Andy since the original article and images are now GW property (again not something I have a problem with at all), if we can put the missing picture in the next issue of House Rulez 4 months from now (just for completeness).
The 3rd page of the article that got trimmed out talked about how to build your own collection of every single BB miniature ever made (ie it was a collecting checklist of all the figs every edition and special castings) ... however to do this I had to use a lot of website references and I'm betting that the whole thing didn't make it past GW legal, so it got cut. So one of my new goals is to get a definitive checklist at a minimum on my website (sorta like the one I have for 2nd edition, but for all figures).
All in all ... I'm just happy to have made print. This was the 5th article I've submitted over the last 2 years, so having one finally make it is cool enough for me.
