well, this is a challenge i never finished because i lost a rulebook of 2nd ed and may be we will never know the entire truth.
I tryed to set the teams of AFC and NFC division from all we can read in books:

I can tell you some team names that appeared but i dont know where they are exactly in AFC/NFC if they are in:

Evil Gits(Gob),Mongrel Horde(Mix),Marauders(Human),Bright Crusaders(Human),Albion Assasins,Bersekers Werewolves), Crescent, Scancrag Snivellers,Severed Heads(Orc),Green Force, The hobgobelin Team(Hobgob),Durump destroyers(Skaven),Warpfire Warriors(Skaven),Black Death(cahos Dwarf),Scarfaced Skavengers(Skaven).

there was 40 team in Bloodbowl Competition, i have only 24 in theire good Division.

I now that 'Icecastle Wolves'Team (Werewolves)is in AFC but i dont know the division.

Just my opinion on some of them, and I may have high and wood elves mixed up in places. Who cares - they're both pansy pointy eared git races.

Other major leagues include the Worlds Edge Superleague (Dwarf only - my own team background has them as former WESL members alongside the Anvils, Zhufbar Stars et al. The Black Death Chaos Dwarves played in this league too, as did Durum's Destroyers who Longshot said were Rats.)
and Goblin Tribal leeg.

I've been under the impression Evil Gits are of every race, just plain EVIL

I have just found the 3rd edition rulebook. Under famous human teams it has the evil gits, and says the following...



Hope this clears up the debate!

My brother who has the 2nd ed rulebook in London says that it they started out at least as Gobbos. Maybe they evolved or maybe he's talking rubbish. DD.

I think 2nd ed IMPLIES the gits are Goblins. The 3rd ed bit that Lanky posted implies - as I stated - a mongrel team. I prefer this idea.

What book is this in? Or is this just compiled info? I am trying to figure out some teams for the BB Championship Manager game I talked about in another post. I know there are team lists for a few of these, do they exist for others? I want to base the game on 2ned Ed fluff so any info is appreciated.

Just a bit of a clarification here: The Galadrieth Gladiators were a Elf team that in 3rd ed. have become the Gladiators, a High Elf team. The Creeveland Crescents were probably a Human team, or at most Halfling, since the only hint at their race comes from the race of their star catcher, Hoshi Komi, a human resembling a Ninja. BTW, I once found on the 'net an Excel spreadsheet made by a guy wich lists ALL the teams ever mentioned on ALL manuals with the info he could put together on each one of them. I got it on my HD at home, maybe I'll be able to post it someday...

The Southstorm Squids and the Lustria Croakers were definately SLANN. Although the younger ones here might not know what Slanns were (some walking and jumping frogmen) but the are hardly compareable to lizzardmen teams

the Creeveland crescents were human - thats for sure if you read the 1st edition handbook (if you own one )
