I have heard that GW is going to sell packs to finish off the teams, hopefully with more unique models.

Does anyone have any idea when these will be sold? Maybe some of the people here with friends in high places at GW?

Right now I have an agreement with another guy who is buying the box to trade my humans for his orcs. If I can get two teams by buying a few kits, I'd rather do that. but I'm impatient and don't want to wait long.

It's not actually in store 'til the 25th, so you wouldn't be able to get it shipped to you until that date, at the earliest. Even if you were paying for it to be posted by the fastest method possible, that means it's still unlikely to be with you in time to use it in your demo, unfortunately.

I feel your pain! I've got a tournament the week after release that I want to take humans to, so frantically trying to find someone locally that I can trade my orcs with to give me enough time to get them painted up!

Some people have gotten advance copies to generate publicity, which is what Swifty's looking for. And a demo at a game con is exactly the kind of thing which I think they'd give you a copy for. Pretty sure Swifty's asking who he has to contact to arrange this.

I'd try Andy Hoare directly on facebook or PM JT-Y here, he might know someone to contact as well.

Yes, I'm just not sure how those guys got their copies: they contacted someone at GW or GW contacted them. Tbh I've sent an email a few weeks ago to GW, but since I couldn't find a better recipient it went to their licensing departmant that probably forwarded it to trash. (I don't blame them. :) )

Anyway, thanks for the tips, I haven't tried the direct PM to Andy Hoare yet, bc I've just recently signed up to FB and with this alias (not a real name), so I would probably look like a spammer or sg like that. I wanted to order the game from Tritex Games, but before placing the order I thought I'd try here.

If you're going down the route of purchasing the boxed set, I know Element Games dispatch the day before release so that they are delivered on the release date. Obviously that's within the UK, next day delivery to Europe may be prohibitive. Tritex and others may do this also, I'm only speaking from personal experience with Element Games when i ordered Silver Tower.

That'd be great, thanks! :) We had some visitors really interested in BB last year (we even printed coloring pages that proved to be a success among a certain age/gender group. :) ), but we couldn't direct them to store where they could pick up the game. This year should be different!

Not integrating the FAQs in the right slice is poor form. But hey, they could had fixed Verb vs verb, and it seems they didn't either.

Any word on GW US stocking the rats? Every time I head over there it's out.

Just seen on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/bloodbowl/comm ... e/daavxbs/

Can someone confirm the following:
The wording of Claw reads '...and the result of the Armor roll is 8 or more before applying modifiers, make an Injury roll regardless of the opponents AV', which to me means Mighty Blow doesn't stack.

Grab works on Blitzes as well as Blocks

Piling On is an optional skill, and the Armor roll is not modified

For MVPs you pick 3 players and d3 to see who gets the SPP

Interesting. Assume that has to be from Deathzone if the box set rules only have skills for the included teams.

It is from Deathzone. That same guy from Reddit sent me some photos of the text, so it's either true or he spent a lot of time doctoring it up.

Duck YEAH THIS IS GREAT :orc:

Grab has always been an under used skill, so it could need a boost, but would this make it OP?
