Saw this this morning. Much hilarity ensued.

Blood and thunder. I was just painting a Nurgle team as well. Gutted to hear they won't be making a return.

Did the author literally pull a handful of random teams from his arse and claim that they're (for some reason) not going to be in the game?

i especially loved the well thought out and clearly explained reasoning behind adding Amazons to the list... and i quote, "Hmm, maybe not the best choice for a team to be brought back into the light of day in 2016…"

Well lets be honest, that roster is boring. :orc:

there are much worse examples of overly sexualised models out there in the world than amazons (lets not open that can), if that is what they were trying to get at? A team where the stat lines are as strong, fast and agile as their male counterparts and an extremely competitive roster definitely gives folks a strong female representation. Ok they dont need to be wearing bikinis but the whole idea of amazonian women is that they kick *** and take no prisoners so its not as if its a team of put upon housewives

I think removing them would be more misogynistic than keeping them!

Yeah, I couldn't work out if there was supposed to be some reasoning or info that I had missed. The article suggests that the reasons are "obvious" which made me think there would be some rationale.

rationale
You can't use fancy words like that in a conversation about BoLS.

The teams are not in the box, or the other product, so they are not in the "new" BB game (perfectly rational for purists that are not playing the game now because they would had to get it second hand or via third party brands).
When they are added (back) by a supplement, BoLS will publish a new article about the "new" teams.
Advertisments served, revenue generated. Obviously.

I doubt it. LRB4 writers weren't cited in the credits of any future LRBs.
Actually not true. LRB 5 had the writer names.

Fairly (though not 100%) sure my koala rulebook has the names too.
