Re: Icepelt vs CRP
There were two rules that got deleted that I know of not because Jervis didn't like them ... but he was just being heavy handed with deleting the imagery and background. The first was a new rule in the beginning of the rulebook that stated exactly how the range ruler worked (as it pertained to interceptions). We changed the rules for that with the CRP (or at least made it much more clear) and that rule change/clarification was deleted by Jervis because he didn't think the CRP needed to describe the components (he didn't even check to see if there were any actual rules in that section of the book).
The 2nd was the Majors. There were specials rules for the Majors. I don't have the CRP to see ... but I know for a fact that some of the special rules were deleted by Jervis when he did the deletions from that section as again ... he thought it was just background story and didn't check to see if any actual rules were in that section.
So those are still official rules that were fully agreed to by Jervis and the BBRC ... the only reason they were not in the CRP and are in the Icepelt rulebook is because JJ was not being careful with the scissors.

Is there somewhere on the web, where one could download the icepelt pdf?GalakStarscraper wrote:There were two rules that got deleted that I know of not because Jervis didn't like them ... but he was just being heavy handed with deleting the imagery and background. Re: Icepelt vs CRP
Was there a version floating around the web that has the bank rules included with LRB6?
Follow up...if so, can anyone point the way?
We play with the Bank in the local league, and figure it would be easier to use a PDF locally that has the rules all included. I thought I had seen a version a while back, but can't find it now.
Also, some Fanatic articles still up here - http://www.specialist-arms.com/fanatic/

I'm not sure where I found this one...

It looks to have the bank rule in as well as some explanation about the Bank vs Petty Cash rules in the Designer Notes. However, I can't vouch for the accuracy of the rest of the document - maybe someone more familiar with it than me will know.

Re: Icepelt vs CRP
That is a homemade document. I'm fine with the bank at 200k like it had (I think personally that 150k is better). However where it goes into "what the heck" for me is why the treasury DOES count for team value for inducements but they don't actually use it to just calculate team value and make the math easier. Overcomplicated and does the exact same thing as saying that treasury (but not bank) is added to team value.outcast wrote:I'm not sure where I found this one...

Yeah, we are using a 150 bank. Anything in the bank doesn't count towards TV and can't be used for inducements. Anything in the treasury counts towards TV and can be used for inducements.
It has worked out well for us.
