before the entire release of my House rulez (that rules!! LoL :smile: )
let me give you some piece of it about some new position players we take from 2nd Edition:
Gobbo catcher: 7 2 3 7 Stunty,dodge,right stuff, catch======>60000 (in gobbos0/4 and orc0/2 team roster)
Halfling Catcher 6 2 3 7 Stunty,dodge,right stuff, catch======>50000(Halfling Team0/6)
Human Bloker 5 4 2 8====>80000 (Human team0/2).
tell me what you think, thx

Orcs are strong enough using normal Gobbos as catchers. They are really a running team who can use Gobbos to give them a passing option, without the extra movement and catch skills as a starting option.

would the addition of the two human blockers reduce the number of blitzers allowed?

Yeah, not got a problem with helping the Gobbos to be slightly more competitive, but the Orcs certainly don't need any more help. I'd be tempted to add 10K to the cost for Gobbo teams though, not done the sums, just a gut feeling! :smile:

I like the idea that all coach can "make" the same star players of their teams so human blocker is a good think (Zug is one the most famous player in BB world).

Soory, I said it in another post, but by looking your "new" team roster of humans and orcs, it becomes very unbalanced compared to the others.

In our last tournament (12 players), Human team ended at the 4th position of their group and orcish one ended in 3rd, 4th of their goup, and the last team of orc ended in final (without gobbo) and lost.
They are not unbalanced.

Human blockers are less resistant than Black Orcs and cost as much. Moreover against elf team it is usefull but they dodge you. Against strong teams, you gain in strength but you lose in movement. So perhaps it's unbalanced but you have carefully organize your human team.

In fact, new positions are a good way to balance the game - Help the weak teams (gobbo, halfing and ... :-[ human)
